About

Fred Schwartz

THE WEALTH DEFENDER, CEO

For more than 40 years my top priority has been Senior Retirement Planning. I like to call the category: “Seasoned Adults.” As more baby boomers approach and enter retirement, I have remained focused on helping these “Seasoned Adults” secure their future in this changing and evolving economic climate. With Taxes always on people’s minds and at the forefront of their financial security, I thought it was extremely important to understand the tax-codes and utilize it to your advantage no matter what stage of life you are in. I am dedicated to helping you create strategies that will provide tax free income.

I graduated from a New England college with a greater understanding and appreciation of the world. I pride myself on educating individuals, families and business’ with regard to financial and retirement planning so they can make impactful decisions that will affect and shape their family and life. I am compliant with all state licenses.

My knowledge is forty plus years of experience in this field as well as holding several key management positions with some of the nation’s largest financial services firms.

If you truly are seeking financial help and tax planning, I am here to guide you.

I look forward to meeting you!

Donna Gentekos

THE WEALTH DEFENDER, ADMINISTRATOR

Donna Gentekos manages the day-to-day operations of The Wealth Defender, overseeing the infrastructure that allows the firm to deliver personalized retirement planning to individuals, families, and business owners. She coordinates, organizes, and plans all of the processes and backend logistics of the firm while managing the intake and delivery of the firm’s client onboarding, workshops, and discovery consultations.

Her work is defined by precision in an area where precision matters. Retirement decisions often carry timing windows that cannot be reopened and elections that cannot be reversed, and the strength of a plan depends entirely on the accuracy of the information behind it. Donna manages that documentation flow — verifying what has been received, tracking what is outstanding, and ensuring that requests move through the process without delay or gaps. Clients approaching retirement are frequently weighing decisions they have never faced before, and her role is to remove the administrative friction from an already significant life transition.

Donna’s contribution is not incidental to the firm’s work; it is what makes the firm’s work possible.
